Eligibility

Employees are eligible for the Health Savings Account if enrolled in one of HRST’s qualified High Deductible Health Plans: HSA $4,000 Deductible 100%, HSA $2,000 Deductible 100% or HSA $7,000 Deductible 100%.

Employees can determine their own Health Savings Account contributions based of their medical plan enrollment and IRS guidelines. In 2024, individuals may contribute up to $4,150, and families may contribute up to $8,300.  If you are 55 or older, you may add another $1,000 on top of that. These limits are subject to change year to year.

Your Flexible Spending Account Benefits

Eligibility:

All full-time employees who work at least thirty-two hours per week are eligible for these benefits.

Medical Flexible Spending Account – Employees are eligible if enrolled in the $1,000 Deductible Copay 80% health plan.

Limited Health Flexible Spending Account – Employees are eligible if enrolled in one of the following High Deductible Health Plans offered by HRST: HSA $4,000 Deductible 100%, HSA $2,000 Deductible 100% or HSA $7,000 Deductible 100%.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account – Employees with children younger than age 13 or older dependents not capable of self-care needed to allow an employee to work are eligible for this benefit.

Contributions

Employees can determine their own Flex Spending Account contributions based off IRS guidelines.

Medical and Limited Health Flexible Spending Account – Employees may contribute up to $3,200 in a calendar year.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account – individuals may contribute up to $5,000 per family in a calendar year.
